Real estate appraiser, construction manager, head of a real estate investment partnership, and historic renovation specialist — these are some of the fields of expertise I bring to The Realty Solutions Team. I’m also a published writer with good copywriting skills.

Extensive experience in valuation and construction management are the two most important skills that bear on my role. Accurate valuations are essential for the best positive outcome for distressed property sales. With over 15 years of appraisal experience, our valuations can be relied on to be accurate and realistic.

ROI analysis can be complex – the scope and cost of a spectrum of possible repairs and renovation evaluated in terms of maximum return needs an experienced eye. As head of KSK Associations for 15 years, my responsibilities included analyzing the suitability of SF and residential income properties for renovation, and then determine the best sale or income potential.

Most importantly, I believe it is important to pay attention and listen well to my clients. To do the job well, I need to focus on and understand my clients’ strategic goals and needs. (For example, is the goal to sell an REO quickly, or renovate for maximum return?) These synergistic objectives set the tone for how we approach a solution.

Listening and communicating well is the key, to my way of thinking, to successfully achieving common goals.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, my professional life was focused in diverse aspects of media. My career began in the on-air promotion department for New York Public Broadcasting System affiliate, WNET/Channel Thirteen, where, within a few years, I worked my way up to senior-level writing and producing positions. It was here that I honed my copywriting skills to increase viewership for the network’s programming and I was invited to join WGAE (Writers Guild of America, East) to which I’m still a member.  As a video producer I acquired a strong foundation in technology and project management.

From broadcast TV, I transitioned to Madison Avenue and the world of advertising on a management track as an account executive. Moving quickly up to Account Director, I lead teams on national and global brands such as Verizon Wireless and Unisys Corporation (cause I’m a little bit of a tech nerd).  I have additional experience on multi-million dollar brands like, Frito Lay International, James River Corporation, J&J, New York State Lottery and Dial Corp.

Competitive analysis is a core part of our training in this industry and that translated well to my current capabilities in property valuations. Attention to detail helps me see what most miss when inspecting homes for issues and repairs. My background in television production and corporate account management is what helps make The Realty Solutions Team a buttoned-up leader focused on customer care consistently producing a professional product for our clients.
